  1. Come and see the Drama Club perform Charlotte’s Web this week or weekend! Many of your classes will be offering extra credit!
    Tickets are $4 for students and $5 for adults! Shows are Wednesday at 7, Thursday at 7, and Saturday at 2:30 at Carthage R9 Auditorium!
  2. No School:  Spring Break is Monday, 3-17 through Friday, 3-21!!!
  3. Carthage Junior High School Cheerleading tryouts will take place Monday, March 10th through Thursday, March 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the main gym at the junior high! Everyone is welcome, and no experience is necessary! Get a tryout packet outside of the office for more information! Each form must be completed and turned in prior to participating.
  4. Do you have a Carthage Public Library Card?  Free Library Cards for Students and Teachers of the Carthage R9 School District. See Mrs. Fultz in the library.  Be Smart, Read MORE!
  5. Track and Field sign-ups will take place in your social studies classes.  The last day to join is Friday, March 7. Join the google classroom and make sure to fill out the “track and field sign up form” to officially sign up for the team. The first day of practice is March 3rd after school. You must have a physical and proper paperwork on file in the office to practice.
  6. Only 45 more yearbooks are available! The online store, yearbookforever.com, will close on Friday, April 4th, or when all books have been sold.  Time is running out; if you want a yearbook – buy it now!  Order forms are available outside the office (under the flag).
