My name is Eric Stark and I am one of the band directors for the Carthage R-9 School District. I graduated from Carthage in 2013 and continued my education at Pittsburg State University. I graduated from PSU in 2018 with a degree in Music Education. I taught 4th - 6th-grade general music and 6th - 12th-grade band at Parsons, Kansas for 3 years before coming to Carthage.

I teach… in order to help students become determined to achieve their goals, to help create an ambition for students to be loyal to a cause, and to help students understand that having a concern for others is important for society.
