Last Friday, Sound Machine (our show choir) won first place over nine other school districts along with the caption awards of "Best Vocals," and "Best Female Vocalist."

Bio: "Michelle Harris is the Carthage Junior High Vocal Department Director.  She has been in show choir all through out high school and has been involved in theater through out high school and college.  Harris was the alto section leader as well as the President of Chamber and Concert Chorale at Missouri Southern State University.  She has had the great fortune of student teaching under Carthage R9 High school Vocal Directors, Katie Crigger and Brian Hargrave, and has grown exponentially through their leadership.  She has been teaching at the junior high level in the Carthage R9 School District since 2019 and is looking forward to many more wonderful years with them."
