CHARACTER TRAIT FOR MAY - HONESTY

1. Drama Club is canceled today 5/6. We will have our last drama club next week on 5/13.
2. Carthage Jr. High Media Center - Friday, May 8th is the last day to turn in books. As an incentive, all students who visit the library to clear their account the week of May 4-8 will receive a Jolly Rancher as our way of saying thank you and "Have a Jolly Good Summer."  
3. Any eighth graders interested in playing golf next season with the high school, please meet in room 155 (FACS) at 7:25 am on Friday May 15th.
4. Any eighth graders interested in the Swim Team next season with the high school, please meet in the Media Center at 7:25 on Wednesday May 13th.
5. May 13th will be the last day of Drama Club.
6. There will be a meeting for any 7th Grade girl interested in attending Girls Weights & Conditioning this summer at 7:30 before school on Friday, May 8, in the Media Center. We will pass out the summer calendar and talk about different competition opportunities this summer. See one of the Junior High girls' coaches if you have questions.  
7. There will be a wrestling meeting for all Boy's and Girl's wrestlers on May 12. The meeting will be in Mr. Brooks room during lunch. The new High School wrestling coach will meet and go over the High School Wrestling Summer Schedule. All Junior High Wrestlers need to attend.
8. Interested in finding out more about Educational Travel? Join us in the CJHS Media Center on Tuesday, May 19th at 6:30pm as Carthage students discuss their spring break 2026 experiences traveling to Ireland and Scotland with The Carthage Traveling Tigers. 
9. Only 25 yearbooks are available for purchase. To order a yearbook, bring $26 to Mrs. Davis in Room 206.  Yearbooks will be distributed during 7th hour on May 19th.
