CHARACTER TRAIT FOR APRIL – INTEGRITY

1. Carthage Jr. High Media Center - Friday, May 1st is the last day to check-out books. Friday, May 8th is the last day to turn in books. As an incentive, all students who visit the library to clear their account the week of May 4-8 will receive a Jolly Rancher as our way of saying thank you and "Have a Jolly Good Summer."  
2. There will be a meeting for anyone interested in 8th Grade or High School Cross Country on Wednesday, April 29th at 7:30 AM in Mr. Crigger’s room, Room 143.

Our summer training is open to all athletes. Plan on stopping by and attending the meeting to learn more about our program.

1. Any 8th grade boys interested in playing HS football next year, there will be a meeting on Friday May 1st at 7:20am in the Media Center.
2. There will be a meeting for any 7th Grade girl interested in attending Girls Weights & Conditioning this summer at 7:30 before school on Friday, May 8, in the Media Center. We will pass out the summer calendar and talk about different competition opportunities this summer. See one of the Junior High girls' coaches if you have questions.  
3. CJHS cheerleading tryout clinics are May 4-6 6:00-7:30 in the main gym at CJHS. Tryouts will be held May 7. Registration must be completed.
4. CHS Cheer will have open gyms every Wednesday in April from 3:30-5:00. Tryouts will be April 27-30th. All current 8th grade students are welcome, no prior experience necessary. Pick up a tryout packet in the office for more information. Must have a current physical on file to participate!
5. Fewer than 40 yearbooks are available for purchase!  To order a yearbook, bring $26 to Mrs. Davis in Room 206
