CHARACTER TRAIT FOR APRIL - INTEGRITY

1. There will be No School on Friday, April 3rd and Monday, April 6th . 
2. There will be No Chess Club this Thursday, April 2nd. 
3. High School Choir Auditions will be: April 6-9 for Vocal choir, April 13-15 for Show Choir. It will be held in the Choir Room A110.
4. High School Dance Team Tryouts: We will have an interest meeting for students at the high school 3:30pm on Wednesday, April 8. I will distribute the bulk of tryout and team information at the meeting. If anyone has questions prior or can't make the meeting, please have them email me perkinsm@carthagetigers.org
5. CJHS Cheerleading Informational Meeting – 2026–2027 Season. Students interested in trying out for CJHS Cheerleading for the 2026–2027 school year are invited to attend an informational meeting. We will discuss open gyms, tryouts, requirements, expectations, and an overview of the Carthage Cheer Program. Date: [Tuesday, March 31] Location: [Room 123] Time: [7:25 AM] All incoming 7th and 8th graders are welcome. Boys and girls may try out, and no prior cheer experience is required. 6. CHS Cheer will have open gyms every Wednesday in April from 3:30-5:00. Tryouts will be April 27-30th. All current 8th grade students are welcome, no prior experience necessary. Pick up a tryout packet in the office for more information. Must have a current physical on file to participate!
