  1. Progress Reports are being distributed today, during 7th hour.  Parents should expect students to bring them home today. 
  2. Chess Club has ended for the school year. Thank you to all those who participated.  
  3. Attention Carthage Tigers, any 8th grade girl or boy interested in joining the golf team in high school, there will be an informational meeting about the summer and upcoming year. The meeting will be held with Coach Newman, Tuesday, April 29th in room 123 at 7:30 am. 
  4. All girls are welcome to attend Dream It, Be It put on by the Carthage Soroptimist.  There will be free food, games, prizes and fun!  All girls who attend will leave with something.  The event is May 7th in the Commons from 3:10-5:00.  Girls must have a ride home at 5.
  5. We will have our Cross Country interest meeting for the Junior High on Tuesday, May 6, at 7:30 am in Mr. Crigger’s  classroom  (143).
  6. The Under the Sea Blacklight 8th Grade Dance is fast approaching, Friday, May 16th 7:00-9:00 PM.  Students must have pre-purchased their t-shirts by the Friday, April 25th deadline to attend. 
  7. We will have an interest meeting April 30th for any 7th grade students interested in playing football next year in the 8th grade. We will meet during lunch in Mr. Brook’s room. Coach Napier and Coach Jones will be going over the summer schedule and camp information for the summer.
  8. CHS Cheer Open Gyms are April 3,10,17,23,30.  Open to all.  No Prior Experience Required. They will be from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Main Gym Mezzanine.  You must have a current MSHSAA Physical on file with the athletic department.
